Mango Storage Guidelines
Mangoes are stored with utmost care to preserve taste and texture:
Pre-Cooling: Fresh fruits are cooled to 10–12°C immediately after harvest.
Temperature Control by Variety:
- Dashehari, Mallika, Amrapalli – stored at 12°C
- Langra – stored at 14°C
- Chausa – stored at 8°C
Humidity: Maintained at 85–90% RH to prevent dehydration and spoilage.
Ripening Management: Mature green mangoes stored at ambient room temperature can last 4–10 days, depending on variety.
